this truck is startin to piss me off
put a new starter in it today. ran beautifully for a while. come outside to crank it up and my fuel line had become disconnected from the fuel pump. put it back on, cranked it up drove .000001 miles and it came off again. did this 3-4 times. now a fricken rubber band is holdin it on there. fuel line will NOT stay connected. i think im about to sell it and get a ctd...

actually .. if the fuel line came disconnected from the fuel pump down by the tank.. that means the clip is busted.. you can go get a new clip for cheap.. bet a junk yard / salvage yard will give ya one for free

you probably cant use a rubber band or zip tie on it, it is probably the type that has a spring loaded clip which is probably broken... I have 1 suggestion for you, go get a can of plastic spray (Plasti-dip iirc) and plug the end of the metal line and spray the outside of the line with it. this will give the line something to not so slick to grab onto when installed, or get a new line.
this is a make shift drawin of what my redneck repair looks like.
the black fuel line with a rubber band around that silver "fuel sender" (dont know the offical name) so it holds the line in place
WOW.
