What are some favorite things you guys love about your RAMS???
When I bought my truck I was initially looking for a ford. I test drove a ford 4X4 and then I took my truck for a ride. Talk about a world of difference. Of course my truck had a couple little "tweeks" already thrown into it. I love the sound when I start it up and the fact that I have tostep upinto it (i'm 6-6) rather than just step into it.
Completely agree with you there, love the step up, and love the sound these dodges make. They ****in roar to say the least!
I love waking up in the morning and looking across the driveway and seeing my tricked out Dodge Cummins just waiting for me to go start her up. I love watching the flaps on my 4 inch stacks go up in down while shes reviing high while shes warming up. I love that first gear shift out the driveway and get that same reaction from the old timer crossing the road because i got black smoke blowing out the top of my truck and rumbling the mail out of his hands haha.
WOW! So Im not the only idiot. Seriuslly, every weeks, Im in an unecessary money crisis lol. I save just enough money to get gas and eat. Other than that, all of my paycheck goes into the truck (carwashes, gas, goodies)...it's rediculous. It's embarrassing how I never have money. My brothers just stopped asking me to go out with them because they know they'll wind up paying for me because I NEVER have money on hand lol. It's definitaly something I need to work on, it's tough going through days with minimal money on hand. Right now, I have $50 left till monday, and that's good at my rate!!
that is really good for budgeting sometimes i gone a week or two on five bucks and it ain't fun cause all the rest of the money goes into my 2500. But, i love how people expect the bench seat in my truck to be stiff and watching their faces as they are sucked into the seat and the ability to outpull a ford f-350 with all types of **** done to it
I absolutely love my truck ... I bought her already modded with a lift, around 3" or so, custom rims and tires,Skyjacker front stabilizers, dual exhaust (although it is quieter than most duals), Nerf step bars and chrome body plates. I have since added a LeBra Ultra-Lift tonneau (for looks and aerodynamics), K&N cold air intake, AirRaid throttle body spacer (which in conjunction with the K&N required me to drop the back of the engine about 2" to install), Chrome brush guard, OEM fog lights, and LeBra front end bra. I have also knocked off one of my rear exhaust tips, and put a nice gash in the rear bed just above the taillight, but she is looking better every day. Next step is to redo the exhaust for better sound and performance, possibly with some shorty headers, and to get the body work done with a nice, clean, new paint job. Then she will beawesome. This truck had been used, perhaps somewhat abused, but she still runs like a champion. She has over 130K miles on her, and I still get around 13mpg, andit uses not one single drop of oil. I have owned her for two years now, and the only maintenance I have had to deal with was the brakes needed to be redone in the rear. I owned two Dakotas previous to Big Red, and I don't think I could ever go back. Don't get me wrong, theDakotas were both great vehicles, but they dont compare to the roominess, the drive, or the ultimate look of the Ram.
