What are some favorite things you guys love about your RAMS???
I love the way it'll jump up and scream with a mopar air cleaner and flowmaster. And not slowing down for speedbumps. And jumping the hill at the local jr college.[sm=badbadbad.gif]
i think because in 94 they started with the new body style when chevy was still in there 'boxed' era and ford.......yea lol okie enough said there- i have owned a chevy blazer and toyota p/u both 4x4 and...... yea my 95 has by far over exceeded them both (thats why the toyota is gone and the blazer is up for sale) lol just love the way it looks like it named - the ram.... just has that tough look to it. i will agree that it has its days when you kinda wanna sweet talk it just to get it to run right but i have never let the thought of selling it get in my head. Its going to be one of those trucks that ill put up to store once it hits that age i can put a "classic" tag on it lol
i love the way they sit so high completely stock. really! my 97 ram 1500 is completely stock(just got it a week or so ago) and it sits almost exactly as high has my buddys lifted H3 on 35's.
hehe, yeah the height rules, my gf went and slipped out the doorlast week and sprang her ankle, i felt really bad but i still had this cool "i got a big truck" feeling in the back of my head im probly gonna have to buy steps for it now tho.
Seriously, I love the sheer abuse these trucks can handle. I beat 22K miles worth of abuse into this truck, and it stills runs awesome. I also love being able to just put my foot in it and pretend I'm one of those Baja long-travel trucks when I'm on the beach, and just let my V8 and all terrains do the work while my buddies ARB locked Jeep digs is 35" ProComps into the gravel.
The seats. For being cloth these are some of the most comfotable factory truck seats I have ever been in. I have the non power buckets with folding console/third seat and love the way the feel slid all the way back and reclined agains the rear of the cab.
The Large engine bay!! Stick a pushrod motor in an engine bay that size it looks tiny, an OHC motor would consume it. It reminds me of all my IH trucks that have a very similar hood/fender/engine bay look.

You guys all have some really cool and interesting perspectives on these trucks, it's fun reading them. I too love the look of these trucks. They also are really comfy (like the seats). This is a truck you could make big road trips with and not feel uncomfortable. They really are some cool trucks, they can offroad, towe, work, and perform fantastically. We are all very lucky to own such nice trucks.
