It's not even that this is a dodge site that ctd is preferred. there are even ford and chevy guys that willl openly admit yea the cummins is the best by far.

I find nothing wrong with a 7.3 conversion. I didn't mind that engine when we owned one. But if your using a 6.0 good luck. I had alot of friends get told exactly these words by ford. "F**K OFF" They pretty much sold the pickups for what they could and went with chevy or dodge.

Why the hell would you want to go from one of the best diesels ever made (both power you can get out of it and reliability) to seriously the worst. The PowerJokes are exactly that, a Joke. If you want a PowerJoke go buy a Ford, then when you realize how much they suck go ahead and pick-up another Cummins.

Anyways it'll take a while to convert it, you need a new bellhousing, the WHOLE computer and harness from the PowerJoke and you'll have to make motor mounts to fit it. Even somebody who has every single part needed and lots of experiance would have a relaly hard time doing it in a weekend.

PowerJokes suck, just my $0.02

Good evening folks, I figured writing such a ridculous thread would help to bring together all the experienced, dedicated, and most upfront members of the forums to one place. Its sort of my way of introducing myself, was that to weird. Some of you caught on to just how rediculous that would be to convert my engine to a Powerstroke, others were very kind about it, almost to kind with their curious responses. Sounds like a good site, where theres plenty of opinions to go around I love my Cummins, after all, I would rather be Cummin then Strokin!.
