Default Voltage gauge dropping off.

A guy replaced my temperature censor and when he did he drug the wires across my alternator. That lead to me buying a new alternator and battery. Now my voltage gauge drops off to zero when i start driving. any suggestions?

Default RE: Voltage gauge dropping off.

Personally I would bring it back to who ever it was that worked on the truck and make them fix it. He may have shorted something out in the harness or computer itself that is giving you problems now.
