Got the drivers side knuckle off, but the passenger side is a *female dog*. The bottom joint popped out, yet the top joint hasn't budged. Kinda ticked about that happening. Anyone have this problem? Was banging on the SOB for about 30 minutes and stickin the fork in and out. Finally got too erked about not dropping it a single centimeter that I went inside to write about it. Bah.

Tried pressing out the joints, no luck. On the 4x4, you can get under them because they are own this Y looking piece of steel, whereas on the 2wd, they are on the control arms. I need info on pressing joints from the control arm.

Well searching I realize I rented the Autozone kit. Looks like I should have gone with Advance Auto kit. Can't get to one in time though, so I'm yet again, stuck.

Got the Advance Kit, and was able to pop off the top ball joint on the drivers side. The bottom side ... broke two of my ratchets. That thing is TIGHT. It's maybe, mayyybe come up 1/8th of an inch. And the passenger knuckle is still just as stuck on there as it was last week. mannn o mann

Yeah, I found that out. I have this big steel bar that was used for my nova, the old old jack stand, and i would slide it over the ratchet and use that torque to break stuff. I guess the ratchets had enough of that cheapo depo style and broke. My friend says he has a breaker bar so I'll see about using that.

Went out today and poke around, waiting for my friend to come back to ask about his breaker bar, and I noticed I've ripped the rubber bushing on the tie rod end. best I can tell, I gotta replace them now. Still out of a vehicle so whenever my friend gets back I'll have to see if he cant tax me around.

Havn't tightened anything up, but did press the joints out of the drivers side and press the new ones in somewhat tight. Let me know if i messed anything up, lol.
