Default Round air filter setup in different temps..

This is a question for all you people with a round air filter setup. I have the mopar performance round setup and where i live the temperature lately went from being cold to warm the past couple days. And the last couple days it my truck has felt kinda doggy. Does anybody else notice this with a round filter setup? Or do have I have another problem?

It'll probably run better in the cold as the heat soak off the engine won't be as great; heat robs power.

As an aside, do you notice a problem when there is heavy dew or moisture? That could be a problem with moisture in the electrical. Rub dielectric grease on all the ignition contacts: spark plug ends (not tips), distributor cap points, coil, and even the batteryterminals. If the distributor cap is old, check it for cracks as moisture can get inside and cause the same problems.

When I say "doggy" just mean that it feels as if it doesnt pick up as well as usual. The best way I can think to describe is to say that it feels like i am pulling a trailer with nothing on it or or a load around 500lbs or so. Its most noticeable in the range right before O/D. When it does shift into O/D i pretty much have to come back out of it to get up to more speed.

Eh, run a round a/c and I don't have any problems with it in the cold.
