does anyone have or know if the fastmans trannys are anygood? the reason i ask is because i had my tranny rebuild a few thousand miles ago but i know that its not going to last forever, so id like to upgrade to a better one that doesnt have all these stock tranny problems.

The valve body the fastman sells increases the internal pressure just like adding a shift kit. However, that still does not improve the quality of the disks and clutches of the transmission. I installed the Dr Evil "Pure Evil" tranny in my truck, about $2100 delivered and $600 to install. I believe that I ended up with a pretty much bullet proof tranny. In my factory tranny the clutches and disks wore out and began slipping.
I don't have any experience or knowledge about the fastmans complete trannies though.

Just call Dan and ask him what he's done to his tranny that he's selling. I don't think you'l find a more honest and up-front guy anywhere. Heck I've whipped him Via email about stuff he doesn't even sell and he's been very helpful.
