I just bought a 1998 dodge two days ago. It has 108000 miles a a 5.2 and a jet chip. I took it out in the woods cut some doughnuts went through some puddles and when i came out i get a grinding noise. It seems like its coming from the rear, its more vibration than grinding maybe something rubbing.Later on it goes away and comes back when i hit a bump then goes away again till i hit another bump. I checked under the truck nothings lose , driveshaft is firm, steering link is firm. i dont know what it could be i have 18 hrs before my lemon law expires plz help. Thanks

 

Just take it in and tell them about the grinding andthat they need to fix it.

 

could be many things as usual, it pays to play, you couldve blown a shock or losened up the mount, the stablizer bushings may be shot,and you just knocked em loose on your run or you havebad ball joints
