my first "CHECK ENGINE" light
took the dodge to autozone this morning and the code that came out was P0133 which said it was a o2 sensor bank 1 low voltage. that means it is the pre cat o2 sensor right? on a 1996 would that be on the Y pipe or on the cat just before it splits into the Y pipe?
is there any quick fixes? i know my gas mileage sucks so besides buying a new o2 sensor which i will prolly end up doing. is there anything i can do now?
btw. i did erased the code and the check engine light has not come back on. ive driven it about 20 miles now. is that normal? i would have thought it would still come back as bad.
thanks

p0133 is 1/1 o2 sensor slow response...
The following are possible causes for O2 Sensor Slow Response: exhaust leak, fuel
contamination, O2 sensor failure, electrical wiring connectors, electrical mechanical,
and O2 heater failure.
Turn Ignition On (Engine Off).
Using a voltmeter, backprobe O2S (Sensor Ground) Circuit between O2S Connector
(Sensor Ground) and PCM Connector (Sensor Ground).
Is the voltage drop reading below 0.10 VDC?
If YES- Replace o2 sensor
