I tried to force myself to stay away from this thread because if I stay in it I will indeed want the 5 speed but oh well just looks like another thing for me to find/do.

It'll handle it, its the same trans that they put in the rams. Its a NV3500 I think? Or is it a 3550? Somebody will know

Not sure what it is but yes it will most definitely handle it.

its NV3500 and yes they used it behind both the 3.9 and 5.2 and eventhe LD5.9's (however they had narrow ratio gearing) ...there only was 2 options for 5-speed, the other was the NV4500 and thats the heavy dudy one

Why do you say hydraulic clutches suck? I guess mechanicals are better until the linkage breaks and leaves you stranded....I've seen it happen.

1 peice unit,non bleedable,non adjustable.180.00 for the unit.Had mine in a year and its ****ed up.Enough reasons?
