auto to stick swap

Default auto to stick swap

My tranny blows. I want a 5 speed, but can't fins **** for anything in the way of shops and internet resources, anybody got any ideas of whats involved or websites i could look at? thanks.

Nothing rely has to be changed. Get the pedel/master/slave assembly and bolt it in. Get the trans and bolt that in. You'll obviously need a flywheel and pilot bushing but thats about it. You need to jump the 2 wires that go to the man trans that are for the park/neutral switch. Other wise the truck won't start. The check engine light will be on unless you actually do the whole computer swap.

if you do a search on it there is quite a bit of info on it, i know of a few who have done it, look at my recent posts too (i havent been here for a while so there kind of olb but till relavent)

Threin lies the problem, with mopar not routinely drilling cranks for pilots if they're to be used with slush boxes.

auclually there was a thread about it a while back and if i recall correctley most rams were predriled regardless

I think thats a rumor about most not being redrilled...it would be more work for them to make 2 different cranks instead of making some with some without.

Not saying its impossible, but I would like to see some evidence of some cranks that aren't drilled.

I'm not nearly as familiar with the Magnums, but believe me-where LA, B and RB blocks are concerned, definitely not a rumor. Cold, hard FACT.
