It was actually really ironic with this whole stacks on a gas engine thing. I was sitting over in a Burger King parking lot stuffing my face with a fantastic jr. whopper and then I saw some "Ford Ranger" drive by with STACKS! It was hilarious! It's one thing for a gas engine to have stacks, yet another for a puny v6 gasser with stacks! It was excellent. It sounded diesent, but just looked really silly, especially on a little girly truck lol!

any pickup with stacks looks dumb , waste of bed space plus have a good rain with water sitting in the pipes and start it up and watch a black bath. i just gotta laugh.

I completely agree with you, I hate the look of stacks. Just looks so damn goobery. It just looks like a guy trying to hard to look like a mack truck or something, just doesn't work lol.

Unless you have a Little Red Express truck from the mid 80's, the stacks on that truck looked good. I have always wanted that truck ever since they came out, just never got around to saving up the cash to find one in mint shape.

Also choices for the super 44 are 2.5 in/2.25 out, 2.5 in/2.5 out and 3in/2.5 out. What do you guys think? Also what will be easiest to install? Not sure of stock pipe size after converter. Thanks again.

Actually going to have an exhaust guy do the install si/do. Just wanted to get the right muffler I've heard of too many people getting the wrong muffler from the shop so I am going to buy it myself. So a would you suggest a 2.5/2.25 or a 2.5/2.5?Thanks for the reply.

Hands down, 3"inlet/2.5" outlets. These are big trucks, they want to breathe, so let them breathe

Anyone know why summit has 2 different part #'s for the super 44? I know there is an off road version but, the 2 I'm talking about appear to be the same but, one is like 50 cents more. The numbers are only off by one digit. Thought it was a little weird anyways appreciate the input.
