the other morning leaving from work.... the check engine light came on.... but the truck runs fine... went and had the code ran.. said i have a EVAP leak.. is this common in 2nd gen trucks? if it is.... is there a common spot for it to leak? whenever i get in the pedel, you can hear it kinda whistle as if the airbox wasnt tightened down on the TB.. any help would be great.. thanks

The easiest answer would be check to make sure your gas cap is on (make sure it clicks couple times) , but since you can hear it whistle it could be a hose is loose ? under driver side there is a black can make sure your hoses are hook up to it , next for ****s and giggles check to make sure you have a gasket between the throttle body and your air cleaner.....

One other place to check: right next to theMAP sensor is a long tube with a rubber end that connects to the TB.Mine was cracked and it took 2 weeks for me to find the whistle.
