Oh yeahhh! Those trucks look fricken raw. I see you have the headlight covers as well. I just put them on my truck, they look sweet with your blue truck. Best of luck to you in bringing in some cash with the plowing, you sure as hell have your bases taken care of with those big boys!

Ya runnin Curtis plows huh.
How long ya been useing them?
Any problems?
I've been with Western straightand now Boss V-plow.
The only thing I can say about the Boss is that it will not roll snow or clean
up parking lots as good as a straight blade.
The Curtis is very intersting to me , the only problem is we don't have a seller in about 100 miles

the blue truck has a curtis the red one is a boss super duty, i love the curtis tho the only reason i put the boss on the red one was i picked it up for $1300 bucks and it was like new, if i hadent found that great deal i would be runing curtis on them both. I have been using the curtis for going on 4 years now never had a problem,

And thank you 20dodgeneon00 im happy with them lets hope they hold up to the abuse, lol

4 years on a plow for commerical use.
Wow , That must be a good plow.
Man everybody around here trades every fewyears .
That way you stay in warranty. Cause let's face it Boss parts are expensive.
Now that Boss straight blade otta be pretty nice.
Your runnin what 7.5 to a 8 ft plows on both.
I'm runnin the big ol 9'2 V-plow.
There great when it comes to the scoop or Vee action.
But as I said above open lots straight blades own them.
If I had another truck and the lots to do I'd put a straight blade on it.
The Vee blade just rocks when it comes to drive ways and stacking snow.
Great lookin line upya got , hope everything goes well for ya.
Let it snow ,Let it snow.

Do ya use wings ?
I used a set on my old Western, because the guy I worked for at the the time paid less for smaller plows.
So I winged it to grab more and get more pay . It sucked at the time because I was hourly for him.
They work really good, If your workinfor yourself and have some of the lots bid by the job and not by the hour
I suggest ya get some , just to increase your speed. The more ya get done the less you'll be there.
Oh yeah , when ya replace the cutting edge do they have a double sided one so you can wear it , then flip it .
Boss and Western do , but I have no clue about Curtis.
What do ya do for salt?

i dont use wings, prolly should, this lot in the pics takes just about an hour and a half to do, thats the back lot, there is a front lot about half that size, as well as sidewalks, so it sucks. we bid this per event, i plow another fairly large commercial account, i do the roadways in this huge complex, and another company does all the parking lots, we charge them per hour, but they want us there from the time it starst snowing till it ends, so we bank there.

As for salt we have a ford dump as well with an 8 foot fisher, and an 8 foot stainless sander on it. We use a sand/salt mix.
