*Proposition...and NEED your 2 cents
LOL I know it. That's my ultimate goal though is get new rims in the spring. And then I'll have a very high quality rim and tire package sitting in the garage. I may not use them though, could possibly sell the two together and make a cute little sale on them. Those off-road editons rims are actually pretty valuable, esp. because they are 17's. I cant wait to get new rims, I know it will look great. Ahhhh so much I want all at once (headers, tires, rims, front shocks and coil springs, linex bed liner, smoked tail lights, cold air intake kit, performance chip) lol sorry im ranting, but its all i think about it hahahah
How much tread is left on your tires? I'd say go for the headers. If you get any significant snow or slush your mud tires will to better than any all terrains will, and all terrains don't do thatwell on ice either. Nothing but studded tires, chains, and tank track handle that well on ice.
Get the headers. Save your money when you do have enough buy a wheel and tire package with a 16 inch wheel (it'll look better, and tires are cheaper for 16" rims). Then you can sell the wheels you have now to make some of the money back.

I had Pure mud tires on mine last winter and could not wait until I could get them off. There was no traction on the ice or packed snow and in our Minnesota winters there is defiantly some of each. If you have mud tires with no sipping then i would vote for the tires, but hey it is your choice. Just my 2 cents
