Default NEW INDASH DVD PLAYER

Lets talk about a pain in the a** to put in. you have to get all the wiring just right and there is a ground you have to put to your parking brake so you cant watch it while driving. well then whats the fun. but i got it all working after a few hours of trial and error. the problem arose when the regular ground to the radio was bad and wouldnt work so i had to run a new ground under the dash. but all in all its killer. the gf can watch movies while driving and looks great. hopefully have pics up soon.

Very nice! I'm anxious to hear what you think of it once you've had a chance to use it.

Those in dash players have a bypass so you can disable the parking brake restriction. The couple I have done have had a hidden menu you get to by pressing a certain sequence of buttons on the remote.

I have it hooked up for the past few days. i have also been able to bypass the parking brake ground too. the only thing i dont like about it is that it doesnt have a dim feature at night time. so its really bright if you have the screen out at night. its good though i love it especially with dane cook on.

just a word of warning, if you ever get into an accident and its not hooked up properley, and it gets inspected you wont get anything from insurence, atleast here anyways... a guy from work wrote off his car and got screwed hard...if youhookit to your park brake (like its suspose to be) then but your park brake down one or 2 clicks your park brake wont be engagued but your still covered then and the deck will still work

I got the same thing on Black Friday.I havent installed it yet.I bought the harness and cover from Crutchfield and they give you a master sheet on how to take out the radio, speakers and so on.What was the most difficult part installing it? Also how did you run the wire to the parking brake?
