Default Champion plugs

Has any one else noticed that when you put another brand of plug in these trucks they dont run as good. When i bought my truck used it had champions in it ran fine but like every used vehical i buy i give it a huge tune up just cause thats the way i am. But ever since i did that i went through wires and plugs cause it would never run right always rough. So I was talking to a mech i know and he said for some reason these trucks favour origanal champion plugs dont matter what wires as long as there decent but the plug makes a differance. So i put a set back in and wow what a diff it runs like new again and there cheap from the dealer only cost $30 local parts store was $80 or morewith my discount for another brand.

So has any one else seen this to in these trucks?
