plenum gasket replaced with pics

Default plenum gasket replaced with pics

So had my plenum replaced today took a couple pics.... i would never guess why it went bad can you see any reasons?

it said screw leaking in one spot im not gonna hold a seal at all... that gasket was hard as a rock and melted like that, the bottom side of that pan was charred black as night.... so i just replaced the pan with the alumminum one from hughes and the bybass hose, and the t-stat to a 180

That one looks exactly like mine when I did the Hughes plate.

I wonder why the gaskets always get pushed out when the plenum is under vacuum, I would think that the gasket would get sucked in
