Default Revving engine

i have heard that it is bad to rev up your engine when your truck is in park. is this true?

yes kinda,....your tranny only circulates fluid in gear and in N not Park, so

well you aint really suppossed to rev it up a lot at all but if you have just started it dont rev it up because your oil is cold and it has not had a chance to lube engine and you arent supposed to put it in gear till oil warms up otherwise you can make it sludge up wich we all know what sludge does

So if you were to rev the engine once 'n awhile just to show off and make some noise, its better to do it on flat ground in neutral, instead of park? Or both equally as bad?

neutral is better but every once and a while even doing it in park really isent going to hurt anything....but yes neutral is better and is not going to hurt anything oncein a while
