so im looking at doing a tune up on my 96 model here soon. its a 5.2l with about 126k on it and all that and never had any problems out of the motor. im wanting to know what kinda things i can add for a little extra hp and all that. not looking to spend a fortune on anything. maybe a nice CAI setup, programer,cam something like that. what do u guys suggest or have on your rides so i can get an idea. I had a Fram Boost Intake on my 05 Z71 with a Hypertech programmer and liked the little extra that it gave me. im not looking to run 12's in the quarter mile or nothing just wanna few more horses out of the motor. any suggestions and all would be kool. pics as well or yalls CAI's or other stuff. thanks a bunch

 

wont find much as far as a hypertech goes on a 96 , maybe a B&G flash or a SCT tunner .. fastman throttle body , CAI or a open elm. (open round filter) , 180 tstat , 8mm sprak plug wires (MSD) , MSD COIL #8228 (stock replacement) , ebay you can mind the MSD 6A for 100 or less , headers , highflowcat , free flowing muffler (flowmaster 40 series) , gears , spark plug autolite 3923 if you got a pingor running MSD.
