4x4 IMPRESSIVE (PIX)
Well finally got to test out the 4x4 on the streets today for the first time with the goofy 35" mud tires. I got to be honest, I was really impessed
! I went to Lowe's and bought 700lbs. of play sand as well and threw it over the base of the tires, and then I went on my way. It was snowing hard and it still is, but the truck wouldn't slip. I expected some sliding here and there, but that 4x4 and 700 pounds of sand really kept it on the road. It was pretty relieving considering i've been leary of how the truck was going to do with the oversized mud tires. Now that I've tested the dunlop mud rovers in the the thick and slippery surfaces of the roads, and its done well, i dont know if i should try to gut it out the winter with these tires, and just get those headers for xmas instead. Perhaps I'm speaking too early, but this morning, it felt awfully safe on the roads with the load in the back and it in 4 hi. Not to mention 4low, my god, it just powered through 10 inches of snow like butter, it was incredible. Anyways, thought id share this moment of excitment with you. IT's snowing and i love it, already took a sled out, was kind of ****ty though cause it was snowing still so it hurt hitting my face lol....but yeah, i like winter lol. I took some kewl pix of the truck in the snow and of the tires. The truck manages to still have a tall stance even with 700lbs. of sand in the rear. The snow just makes it look so scerene
