it prob came with the block heeter but my not have a cord on it, it will be on the pass side of the block
Where exactly would this be located, and how much trouble and $ would it be to get a cord on it? I would like to use it this winter if I have one.
look just infront of your oil finter, it should be there it will have a curved plug with3 pongs (or a cord attached then just follow it out)

I don't really know, but I read a post from another forum where a guy said he bought one for his Dakotafrom the dealer for like $35. I don't know how true that is though. I think you just take out the freeze plug (see the diagram above) and install the heater in its place. Maybe someone more experienced will chime in here.

yah that sounds about right for price, putting it in usally isn't too dificult, only thing is that its going into the water jacket so the coolant hals to be drained or when you pull out the frost plug youll have a big mess
