Got my build sheet... Says I have an engine block heater, but I have never seen it...dunno. What do you all think? Pretty standard build?

It looks pretty good to me. How do you go about getting a build sheet and how much does it cost? Don't want to steal the thread but just wondering.

looks pritty standerd, it prob came with the plock heeter but my not have a cord on it, it will be on the pass side of the block

You dont even need to go through all that. You walk into your local Dodge dealership. Go to the parts desk and ask them for a copy of your build sheet. Five minutes later , no cost to you, and you have it.

 

for myself i just find it easier to do it from the comfort of my home and when its emailed to me i cant loose it.....besides me going into dealerships usally ends up being expensive lol

 

I hear ya! Always seem to "think" I need something that sits on the display. Amazingly they are able to get it for my truck every time.

 

Where exactly would this be located, and how much trouble and $ would it be to get a cord on it? I would like to use it this winter if I have one.

 

An optional engine block heater is available on all models. The heater is equipped with a power cord. The heater is mounted in a core hole of the engine cylinder block (in place of a freeze plug) with the heating element immersed in engine coolant. The cord is attached to an engine compartment component with tie-straps.
The 3.9L,5.2L and 5.9L gas powered engine has the block heater located on the right side of engine next to the oil filter.
