I have a 2000 ram 1500 V6 Magnum. I really need more HP because I can pull more weight on foot than this thing can. please give me some suggestions.

 

IMO you should check out the Dakota forums. There are probly a bunch of guys there with pretty modded V6 engines. Round here... most people have the 318 or 360.

Also.... because of your vehicles wieght... not matter how much money you sink into your motor you may not be happy with the results.

Buy the time your done its possile that a motor swap would have been cheaper.

I have a 318 short bed and box with some mods. The truck has def come to life but i still want more. If I had a V6 I wouldn't even bother modding it... I'd go right for a 360 or408.

Just my opinion.

 

I'd get the crower kit... socaldakota.com has the kit. expensive but worth it imo. I had them on my 360 and liked them alot.
