Default ABS and E-Brake

Has anyone else had a problem with the ABS and parking brake lights in the dash? they stay on every once in a while. i am thinking a short somewhere, but wanted to check here before tearing anything up. thanks.

p.s. i usemy obd2-> usb data streamer, and i get no bad data when the lights 'stick' on.

My RamCharger does that a lot. I think it may have something to do with the fact that the e-brake does not work, but it's partially engaged. Which make the dinsour of a computer think the ABS is screwed up.

I remember I read somewhere that when both lights come on there may be a problem with the ABS system. But if there was, it should throw some kind of code, although it may not present itself as a CEL. Is your scanner just a CEL scanner? Or does it check all codes through all systems?

Sorry if that's not much help, but I do know that when both lights come on there is a problem. I remember that specifically.

thanks CSCustomCars. my obd2 system streams all sensor data to my laptop in real-time. i have a ton of 3rd party applications that are compatible with the elm327, so you can pretty much do whatever with it. looks like i will be inspecting and maybe replacing my rear sensors. thanks again.

The rear wheel speed sensor is notorious for going bad on the 9.25. You can order them through NAPA (thats where I got mine) for around $40.00. They take maybe 5 minutes to change.

Good luck with it.
