Default first tow/pull with my ram :D

i only got the ram a couple of months ago and since i have no trailer to tow my car to the track i havent gotten any opportunities to tow or pull anything. today and last night it snowed like crazy so my sister comes in the driveway and gets stuck. she grabbed a shovel and i laughed. i jsut tied my tow strap to her car and like any good ram does ,, it got the job done. im so excited i know there r gonna be so many cars in the ditches so i threw the strap in the back n im ready to pull people out! pics of her today gonna be posted asap

Yup. I got to experience my first pull yesterday too. I swear my baby asked me if I had attached anything at all. It's like the Dodge Intrepid wasn't even there.

make sure u get the highest threshold chain and make sure when u add some weigh incase the chain lets go. when i ahd my ram and had to pull ppl out, i used two tow straps as i had a hitch, so on either side of the hitch i wraped the strap around and then to the front, less strain on each strap

dont get a chain, get a 30k lb strap. I have seen even expensive high load rating chains break, it is not pretty.

+1 on the 30,000 lbs strap. I had to pull trees out of the ground to get to my buddy to pull him out on our last trail ride and it holds up fine. Just make sure you replace them from time to time. They say the water doesn't hurt them but it does after time.
