2000 Ram 1500 5.9 Hesitation
Hi again guys I am still looking for answers. I finally took it to the dealer and because the computer is not throwing any codes they can't diagnose it. What ever happened to a mechanic that can diagnose without a computer hooked to the car. They charged me $255.00 to replace the TPS and that didn't fix it. I can't keep throwing $$$$ at the truck because the dealer said it may work.HELP

Hi Guys,
I have a 2000 Ram 1500 with the 360 V8. I have a funny miss and hesitationwhen cold only between 20 and 30 MPH once the truck is warmed up it is fine. Also the temp doesn't go much past 130-140 degreeswhere it's used to running a consistant 190 all day long. I have changed the plugs, cleaned and re-oiled the air filter and replaced the cap and rotor, wires, new stat and coolant temp sensor and TPS. It just seems odd that it does it between 20-30 mph. What do you guys think?
Also, there are no fault codes.
Thanks
Dave

crossfire/misfire plug wire ?
a weak/bad/fouling plug ?
weak coil ?
vacuum leak
plenum leak sucking oil into air mix and dumping on cold plugs ?
if engine temp is not coming up to 180/190 within about 5 minutes, then your new t-stat is either bad, wrong size, or missing, or installed wrong. (provided santa claus is not your next door neighbor).
