Was he afraid to bend it out of a single. Looks like two pieces with some junk tacked on the end. Not busting on you but looks like a backyardinstall. I would have to say ithas probably got some drag.

Yeah wtf? Your truck is too nice looking to have that ****. Who did it? It looks very choppy. And then they welded the tip on all nasty, dont these ppl know you spent some good cash on that shiny tip?? She sounds stout tho bra, love your truck, but I think the exhaust was poorly fabricated, they like used bird **** to mesh the y-pipes to the manifolds or sumthin?? lol. Although it doesn't look that pretty, it doesn't seem like it'd loose h/p. EVerything looks logically designed. The y-pipe of the manifolds and then just a big single pipe. Shouldn't be loosing anything with a big block like that....I think lata down the road you should have some nice fresh piping put in, and have a true dual welded. THAT would be amazing. Then get some big nice shiny tips, that'll set her off, and rep. that big block gasser!

Well I got it installed at a local shop (umm in the upper penninsula), the guys like 50 so I assumed he knew what he was doing but now I have no respect for his business. But if this is holding my engine back, then that really sucks and have to get it redone...when I come accross some $$ lying around. How much power you think is lost with this? like 5-10 hp/torque?

Yeah, that sucks man that they did such a shotty job on the welding and such. I guess looks aren't everything, as long as you're happy with the sound and no huge performance losses. It's not like everyone will be crawling under there to see your exhaust very often, but I know it would kill me to know it didn't look as good underneath as it could. I say you get some new piping installed eventually and you can't go wrong with duals either. Sorry for your bad experience, but it's all good and can easily be fixed.

its clear that it has 2 cats running 2 pipes back to the muffler with a single out.. thisguy made it a single from the cat back , be better off running the 2 pipes back to the muffler( mangaflow , flowmaster , gibson ) with a single 3" out or the 2.5" dual out . its not a job this exhaust guy took pride on..lol.. yes there is some lost with no muffler. either way if this guy would done the muffler back still would of been cheaper that that job...

OMG CAPS LOCK
haha

well the exhaust.... ummmm... ghettoooooo
i would get a refund for real.
How much he charge??
I woldnt have paid more than like $20-45 MAYBE.

the way things are bent in there, there is not going to be very good flow... you need smooth bends for good flow....
