Default TOP 5

i started thinking what would be the topfive things to do to these trucks that would give the best bang per buck. as far as fuel economy, performance, overall improvement.

from everything i have read im going to say, in no order..

1. fastman TB
2. higher gears
3. thermostat
4. long tube headers
5. after market transmission cooler

do any of you guys agree? or if you disagree make your own top 5. lets hear them!

Heres what I would say...

1. gears... 3.55s are the most common on these and IMO 3.55 is insane with a gas motor with .69 ratio overdrive.
2. cam... even a mild cam would be an improvment over stock
3. fastman tb
4. longtubes, with a full free flowing exhasut
5. performance computer flash

No particualr order for my list either...

Mine isnt pointed torwards mpg, more torwards performance, towing, ect...

1. Throttle body- buff the intake a bit
2. LT's/full exhaust- buff the exhaust a bit
3. Cam - stockers are lame, the intake/exhaust should come first to help with the flow for the cam
4. Gears - with gears and cam, come a comp tune, so throw that in as well
5. Trans - upgrading the trans is a good idea since your making more power.

pritty much what Im planning.
