Default jumpy when going into D or Rev.

Hey guys this has been happening with the cold weather moving in on me (virginia) and though i know most cars (automatics) have a little jump when you put them into drive depending on the vehicle some have a lot of jump, but i just want to make sure this isnt an issue, when the truck is cold, and im backing out of the drive in the mornings i put it in reverse/Drive the truck actually 'jumps' or 'lunges' a little (not to the point of screeching tires or anything that serious, just a little lunge forward or backward given R or D)andI hear the tranny engage with a decent little *thunk* soundbut once the truck warms up its no longer an issue, the tranny fluid/filter was replaced back in the spring time, so is this a normal dodge thing or should i be concerned? The little clunk is pretty normal with these trannies. However, if you haven't done so lately, a service probably wouldn't hurt to change out the fluid and adjust the bands.
