NEW 2009 WHAT YOU GUYS THINK!!!
ORIGINAL: xskylinedx
Its a nice looking truck that would be best suited as a two wheel drive. Coil sprung rear end with a independent front suspension, thanks Dodge for a car with a truck bed. I personally think that 2001 was the last good year for the 1500 Ram. Its still a truck; with solid front axle, leaf sprung rear, and a MANUAL t-case shifter. just my 2 cents.

that ^ and the rest of the descritptionabout therear suspension sound similar to a real H1 hummer with independant rear suspension...( IRS) like the old style VW bugs of yester year
"it’s a totally new coil spring design, probably a 3 link, possibly a 5 link.†(Both Allpar and Autoblog previously reported that it would be a rear coil suspension, with Autoblog specifying a 5-link with 4 trailing arms and a track bar)."
Well I just hope that's just the 1500 street ***** model.
If they have any sense they're not going to be putting coil spring rear ends and indepent 4 wheel suspensions in 2500, and 3500s. Woulnd't that be great to have a cummins capable of hauling 30,000 pounds and a truck that's capable of hauling 4,000...
Someday when everyone vag quits hurting over how much gas costs this **** will go away... I hope. Otherwise I'm gonna be living my life in 2nd gen rams forever.
