NEW 2009 WHAT YOU GUYS THINK!!!

INFURIATING! Why are trucks becoming more like lincoln town cars rather than trucks? Worthless! Crank windows, no headliner, no carpet, no slider window, no a/c, no power brakes, no power steering, big v8, lots of torque....damn I miss my 78

Ithink that they arean OKlooking truck, but it looks quite a bit like the new Dakota from the front, just with the grille upside down. I still like the looks of the second and third generation trucks much better, though.
Puke! Reminds me of a fish mouth for some reason. I have the first year the extended cab was offered (95) and I think I would replace the engine and tranny to keep it going. Garagaged its entire life.
I also have a 2005 Yukon XL, whew...that truck went downhill with the 2007's!!
I like big TRUCKS and I can not lie, the other brothers can't deny....wish I could lift it to the sky...theres not a gas station I don't pass by.[8D]

I hate how the headlights look like those of a new mustang. Beyond the gen 2 i like the 2500 big horn editions. With them lifted and stires and a brush guard on them, they look so d*** fine. I would love to have one in an 05. But i might just keep mine and make it a bad *** truck around these parts.
The only good thing I've really seen is that they're ditching that butt-ugly mega-cab design. Otherwise, the Ram is becoming more like the Rampage and less like the Ram. Alas, it looks like the trucks are definitely losing their true utilitarian nature.
I agree. That version would have been a much better design to go with, if they were thinking about doing a redesign. Alas, the designers have lost their way and must be pointed in the right direction again. Either make it look like a truck, or watch Ram sales be lost to Davy Jones' Locker.

Ya, all the trucks designs in the last 13-14 years are all variations of what came out on the Ram in '94. It was ground breaking, and really aggressive looking, like nothing else on the market at the time. Everyone else has since copied that to some extent, but now we've gotten down to this style you see with this new design that could be mistaken for a Ford, or a Tundra, or a GMC, or any other, they all look basically the same again. Someone needs to again come out with something really groundbreaking.
Personally, I wish Dodge would have continued down this path that they teased us with back a few years ago at the 1999 Detroit auto show.:
