I brought in my '97 4x4 1500 5.2L automatic in to get the computer scanned and got the code...

It really doesn't want to shift past second gear, one guy said my tranny was done, I'm just wondering if this code confirms that or says otherwise, cause the truck isn't worth a new tranny.

replace the Governor Pressure Solenoid and/or the Governor Pressure Sensor.

 

Do you know of a link that will show me the steps of how to do that?
