so i wont be driving my truck for a little over 5 months while im in BCT/AIT... is there anything i can do to help it stay strong while im gone? ill have my dad start it up and drive it around every now and then, but it probably wont even be weekly. would it be good to get a tuneup when i get back? any suggestions about keepin it healthy while im gone will be appreciated.

put the battery on a trickle charger so it doesn't go bad. Change the oil before you leave and before you run it again. Fill the gas tank up and put stable into it. (fill it up so there's less chance of condensation to get in it. See if you can put the truck on stands so the tires are stayingoff the ground for a long time so you don't flat spot them. Thats about all i can think of

also if he jacks it up...all he has to do is let it run for 10-15 minutes to run fluids through the truck.

I just got mine out of storage after 15 months (Iraq) all I did was replace the batt and change the oil and she fired right up. make sure you fill the gas tank up. Depending on MOS you will be gone what about 16 weeks??

Should be fine.

OH I forgot..........I put some of that tire sealer in all my tires and drove it around and before I parked it filled the tires to the max pressure and then a little more. No need for jack stands. I did unhook my batt.

What is your MOS??
