Well if you are running a true dual, they'll most likely have to be side by side in the upright position. I would think they'd both need to be center inlets/center outlets. That's what my brother had for his true dual, and that's what all the exhaust shops suggested he did was that. But yes, she will be loud even though it's a 5.2L. Also, having the cats gutted makes a big differance. Before I had my cat gutted it was loud, but once it was gutted, it gave it that extra rasp along with that cigarette boat idle, it's just amazing. Im buying long tube headers tomorrow as well, yeah, it's going to be disgusting lmao!
Mine are both side by side and are upright. They are also both center in/center out. I did all of the measurements and that was going to give the best ground clearance and keep them out of they way with the way that the pipes were already run, so I would say that would depend on your existing pipes. I think I may buy some longtubes soon as well if I have any money left over. Should sound extree nice.

I dont mean to take over the post.... Ok i have a quick question. How do i know if i have the delta flow 40 series or the regular??? im not sure what i have now and I too was thinking of going with the super 44 but my question is, will it make any difference sound wise from the 40 series?? I was also looking at the vortex cherry bom muffler si/do. But i dont know, i listen to other peoples trucks here and they are much louder than mine. what could be the problem?? should i just go with a different muffler? or should i get another cat converter?? again sorry if im taking overyourpost..

no problem man, were all here to get stuff answered:P but icant answer your question exactly. mabye bumping it will help u out. i know the 40s are suposed to be louder than the 44s but the 44s have a deeper more agressive sound. more destinctive. other than that. get a new cat, the popular one is magnaflow. it sounds like open headers right now with just my dual magnaflow cats on it right now so it should make it much louder if u switch cats.
