Well... i dont have satellite radio... but i did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night.

thought about mounting it above your cup holder on the dash?
thats where i had put my iPod driver+play thing on my old truck....
i used to have a 5" tach on the left hand side lol so it really didnt look TOO cluttered or anything...

yeah thats not too bad but its lookin like my only choice. right under the ash tray on the (mine blue i think that pic is too) part of the "underdash" is where the cb is and to the left is the meter. then i have a trailor brake controller next to it so no room at all. damnit.

When I had my 96, I drilled two small holes in the bottom part of the dash, below the ash tray, close to the floor. It worked out really well. Hoped this helped

ive got a Sirius Sportster 4 and i mounted it on the topleft hand side as close to the pillar/roof as i could get it, that way its out of sight but within an easy arms reach, because the suction cup mounting arm isnt very long so if you mount it on the lower part of the windshield you would have to stretch everytime you needed to change it (yes it has a remote but it doesnt do all the functions)

Here's mine. I made a custom mount that uses two exisitng screw inside the ashtray. It curves up and puts the radio where you see it here.
