i think that would be totally over kill, my friend has one in the trunk of his car and it literally blows the car of the ground. Especially in a single cab since the sub is almost next to your ear. It might be better if you get the 10" l7 with the truck enclousure. or even the 12" comp vr with a good amp. How much are you looking to spend becuase the L7 is way expensive.

I had a 12" comp vr in my '98 four door jimmy and that thing shook the house. I'm actually debating whether I want to put it into my ext. cab ram. I think I'll have to turn it down a bit, I've already lost enough hearing

well then kicker sells the truck enclousure for it but i suggest getting a good powerful amp becuase believe it or no you blow speakers up when they are under powered. Like the kicker 750.1 or even the 1000.1. That thing will bump like crazy. From what i hear kicker subs like ported boxes. What kind of music do you listen to.

I have a single 10" JL w1 and it is way more than needed (that is with an extended cab).

i used to have 3 8" L7's in my reg. cab chev. powered by a rockford power series 1500bd, it was the loudest stereo i have ever had to this date... unbelievable , i now have 3 10" clarions running off the same amp in my quad cab dodge.... no where near as loud... still very very loud...just not quite as loud

I found a kicker zx750.1 on ebay for $159 it's refurbished thats why its so cheap...Me and my dad are gonna build a ported box for it hopefully it will sound good because there is not much room to work with... should we port up or port towards the driver side?[&:]
