3" body lift help
need some insight....i got myrear bumper brackets and wheel well skirts infinally so Iamgoing to getstarted on installing my 3" PA body lift on my 97 1500, i searched old threads but couldnt find exactly what i was looking for, those of you who have installed this kit (or one similar doesnt matter) did you have any issues because the instructions that come with it are pretty vauge but straightforward enough to get the job done, just lookin for any experience with hoses not being long enough/things not covered in the plans/ things you had to buy extraetc etc just any problems in general, thanks
the only thing that was a PITA was welding to extend my 4x4 lever and the little blocks for the bed so when there is weight in the bed it wont sag.. other then that its straight forward.. should be easy with your 4x2...
Don't forget to lower your radiator. Also watch for the wiring harness and ground straps that run across the throttle body area. Also brake lines and anything else that connects the body to the SUSPENSION. You'll love that body lift because now you'll be able to access the rear of your engine with ease. It takes me a minute to change out cap, rotor, spk plug wires, etc.

rather then start a new thread im gonna ask some questions on this one.... instructions say you have to weld the 4x4 lever and the cbale for the auto trans. Is this true? im not going to be able to get the 4x4 lever or anything for the matter welding right away. will the truck be drivable? im not worried it i get stuck with out 4 wheel drive for a lil bit but the auto trans thing scares me.
