Actually, there are others that make long tubes. Southeast RT has a pair I was looking at myself.

Who was the shipping co? Also what is the benefit of long tube headers over shorties? I ask because on some of my Mustangs I've owned I ran the long tubes and some of them the shorties and they both did the same thing in HP and Torque increase. I have a 98 with a 360 eng no mods ( see signature line below).

 

They ended up being a factory direct ship through Fed-ex. I think it was a combination of poor packing and a little ruff handling, mostly poor packaging. I only know what I've read about long tube and shorties. From what I've come across the long tubes yield more gain than the shorties and alot of people seem to be happy with the long tubes. I've also read (not just on here)that alot of guys wish they had gone long tube instead of the shorties and tend to make the switch when possible. It all depends on who you ask though, there is alot of information about both. Do a long tube search here, other forums, and some generic searching about the benefits of long tubes...... that should get you started.

 

Thats a real nice setup. I wish I got that Y pipe, and just cut it at the Y and ran true duals, instead of going the diffacult route

When I pulled it all out of the boxes I said the same thing "those are f'n huge!". lolSomehow I didn't expect 3 inch pipe to look that big! No prob on the pics, I can't believe you put my couch on your background [:'(]lol When you get your headers check the ports that bolt up to the heads. If the replacement set come in with the same amountweld build-upwhere the tube meets the flange I'm going to take a di grinder to eventhem out.

 

Are we having a little size envy?

 

If you grind any of that, you'll take the jet coating right off. Just tell pacesetter to hire a guy that can actually weld. I hate shoddy workmanship.
