well i finally got into fixing the broken and rusted gas tank straps but it didnt go good. since everything is pretty rusted, as i tried to remove the bolt but it is all so rusted half of the bolt came apart. so there is a small amoun of bolt but none of my tools can grip a rusted bolt. so i left it the same way for now. i guess the only way would be to remove the thread and replace it but im not sure what to use. there is a small hole but it doesnt have a circle size hole its like a small triangle metal attached to the thread.

so i have one of two options. i can try to make piece of metal to be bigger then the hole and then drill a hole for the thread but im not sure how secure that will be. OR i can buy a smaller gas tank to go in the bed.

unless someone knows where i can buy a new thread for the gas tanks?
