so yeah newb question, but someone please tell me how to make this s bolt... im over this homemaid cai.

 

It's not really an S-bolt man. It's more like a bent bolt. At least mine is.

Just a 5 inch long 1/4 -20 piece of threaded pipe. I think it was 2feet when I bought it.
I just bent it by hand, screwed it in, marked where Ineeded to cut it to, took it back out, cut it (so as to not get metal particles in my throttle body) put it back in and put the lid on.you just have to bend it back wards then more your finger up about and inch and bend it back the other way so it's straight.

 

search silver_dodge's post "k&n fipk no more" thread.. its like 100 pages long but had a buttload of diagrams and measurements to make the S bolt.. super easy .. 20 different ways to do it

 

oh yeah one other thing. Screw a nut on it first before you bend it. That way after you bend it when you take it off it will re-thead the rod.
