2500, I completely emphathise with you about the perfection thing (my buddies call me howard hughes sometimes because im so ****)

 

I simpathize but man they look good and with the round air hat even better

 

I am for black and orange.

Another question......do you like that air filiter kit that you have on there?

 

I dont know if its a kit.....but I like it.

 

The orange looks good, but so wouldn't the blue, but I say stick with orange.

 

Paint it Black then file the raised lettering a bit so it shows sliver. Then add the Mopar valve covers like Silver has. I think that would look really nice.

Plus I think Black dissipates heat faster.

 

Maybe its just me but I always thinkrust when I see orange.I like rabbler's idea.

I tore off the intake today so that I had something to do while it rains tomorrow. I bought a polisher for my dremmel and am cleaning it up in prep for painting. The clean aluminum looks SOOO nice. I almost hate to paint over it.

 

A dremmel. Great idea! How good does it look? Would paint get just as dirty? Do you think the altenator would 'come to it' too?
