Default What color?

When I have my intake off this time Im going to paint it up so that theres no more ****ty cast alum look. I already have my accessory bracket painted hemi orange, so I was thinking of matching it to that (and eventually the block when I pull it).

I photochopped it to get a decent idea.

That looks good. I'd either go with that or the same blue as your truck.

I was thinking blue, but only with white valve covers, and since I just picked up chromies the blue is out of the picture.

How much would it cost to polish the aluminum (then you have to treat it somehow I think) to match those vcovers? Or they justtoo rough to do that?

I wouldnt have a clue on how to go about that. Do I just take a grinder to it and make it smooth or something?

I photochopped some chrome valve covers on it to make it look a little more to the point.

I would just take the extra time out to get it powdercoated orange. Then you never have to worry about it flaking or peeling. I would also go with the Mopar valve covers. Orange and black all the way baby!

Edelbrock SUCKS!!!!!!!!!

yea its very easy to grind aluminum however its also very easy to gouge the manifold, and if your like me it would have to be a perfect job, which is just way to hard to do, stick with the paint i like it.
