Im looking for some paint that will match my stock dash color to paint a pillar ? Anyone know a place where i can either match it up or will have some ?

 

When I did my driver side grab handle, the one I bought was from a truck with a darker interior then my truck. I just bought some paint that matched my interior from the dealership. It was a perfect match of course, and it came in a small rattle can so it sprayed on very easily. it was a little pricey (I think it was about $5), but it was the perfect match, so it was worth it to me.

 

www.genosgarage.com also sells color matched paint. Another way to get it perfect is to take a piece off the dash like the fuse cover and take it to a automotive paint store. They can mix up some paint that will match exactly and out it in spray cans.

 

How well does that vinyl paint work? Do you have to repaint it every so often or will it last? How does it wear like in seat recliner levers...
