Default my trucks value

What do you think it's worth? Or what would you feel comfortable paying for it. I live in southeastern Wisconsin.

2001 Ram 1500 Sport
4x4 automatic
5.9l, 52,000 miles
quad cab short bed
fiberglass cap
towing package
infinity sound system
power everything except seats

Interior is in great shape. Exterior has 3 small dings about the size of a quarter. 2 on passenger door one on driver front fender. No rust. I'm looking to put it on autotrader and craigslist withing a few days. Gas is getting too expensive with me in college. And finding parking spots for a large truck in the city is not easy.

I already looked on nada and kbb. But books don't sell and buy cars, people do. So i was wondering what people have paid for theirs. Or would feel comfortable paying for mine.

Very good point, my trucks "suppose" to have a dealer retail value of $10k with a minimum bad condition value of $8k but I only paid $6800 for mine with 163k miles in excellent condition. Now I had a choice between the one i have and another one like yours with the V8, black with a gibson cab exit exhaust with a worn, smokers cloth interior that was priced at $6300 (edit: w/~150k miles). The lot was in northern michigan where trucks are suppose to have higher value. Down in wisconsin I looked at dodge trucks in waukesha county and dealers wanted above the suggested retail value from these sites (ahem Car King in brookfield...), but private party sellers ranged widely in that area but in the ballpark price ranges from kbb. Usually I found that in the city, trucks that were in "showroom" condition outside of car lots were priced pretty high like $9000 with 140k miles from one of them i saw, I'd check autotrader.com in your area and find exactly whose paying what for these trucks.
