Somone shoot me please I'm going to cry
I've really done it this time. I went out to the truck and decided to try 93 octane setting on the hyper tech. IT started to read and then I had to go real quick so since it was just reading I unpluged. this is where you shoot me. How stupid was that. Anyways truck ran fine. I decided to try it again. The hypertech said that it had been interupted and proceeded to try and write the program. When it finished it gave an error code #70 and said call support. I though oh ****. Try to start the truck and nothin. **** **** **** **** ****. It tries to turn over but won't. The cluster says no bus. Now I'm ready to cry. Iv'e tried everything. I unpluged the pcm and pluged back I checked all the fuses what else can I do? I have a suspision that I'll be taking it to the dealer and having them reflash the pcm.

bang!----- ur not gunna like this at all... ur pcm is basicly done for.... and the more i think about it. since u didnt deprogram it first, u just went in to update it i assume? theres a 95% chance ur programmer is also garbage

I went and did the cluster test and got 920, 921 and 999. They all say that there's no signal from the PCM. I'm hoping that I can just have it reflashed at the dealer. I'm also hoping that hypertech will replace the programmer. Probably not since it was my f*** up and I'm not the original owner. Dammit

Damn,that sucks.I was sweating bullets when I hooked up mine for the first time.I was praying nothing would go wrong.Maybe send it in for a performance program now that you have an excuse.

Yep I think you need to pony up at the stealership, unless you can find a cheap used PCM you can swap in. Check www.car-parts.com I've always had luck there.

THE DEALER CAN REWRITE THE EPROM! BUT YOUR HYPERTEC IS PROBALY TOAST IN THE FUTURE BEFORE YOU PLAY HAVE A BACK UP! THE STEALERSHIP SHOULD FIX YOU UP! HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS AND GALS!
