It will be removed by the upholsterer. I am dropping the truck and he is doing the work. I can ask him to take pix of the uninstall if you want.
Please, because I just want to remove mine and have it repadded and recovered.

I love my elbow dent too. What will you do to keep it from happening again?

I have to agree with cereal killer, the 2nd gen rams have the most comfortable seats ever put in a truck, they are even more comfortable than most cars...

Anyone put another seat in the middle? I'd love to pull that bottom cushion and armrest and throw in a real seat if it'd fit and bolt up correctly.

I would have to third or forth the 2nd gen Ram seats as the most comfortable seat I have ever sat in for a truck. Thats not just because I own one either, they are just damn comfortable!

The center console on the other hand needs a serious rework. Trying to get that thing open while driving and shifting is a PITA the way it is hinged in the rear and the lid being so big. Also, every loose article you put inside (aka: Pennies) gets all mixed up when you flip up the seat back to use it as a seat. Why the hell could they have not put a "Penny" holder in the coin holder as well. I hate that!!!!!

If you have ever gotten caught not making sure that the lid was latched and flipped the seat up for your kid and had the lid open and spill everything inside all over the backside of the seat, canI get an AMEN on that too?????

Look at a 97+ F150 center console, thats a good console. They have an integrated big cup holder, and a latch that you can see is engaged before flipping it up. Since I have a manual tranny, the damn cup holders are on the floor, I could use a console like the Fords.
