4.10's are a very good size for 33" tires in my opinion. Definetly go with those. Install is not difficult, but requires some special tools and experience. I think it is best left to a professional because there is not a lot of tolerance there. If you mess up, your going to have a much bigger mess on your hands. I run an Aubrun limited slip, and am very happy with it. Also heard very good things about the Detroit limited slip. I've never run a rear locker, so I can't help you there.

since ur a 2x4, its easier. For a locker, get the detroit locker. You would have agood amoutof power with 4.10's and 33's. If your more suited for gas mileage, 3.92's would be nice with 33's. um.. as far as installation, the 9.25 axle is easier than some as I hear. If I were you, I would just have them installed. I got a quote at a local shop for 250 + part for my LSD to be installed this summer out the door. Cant be much more for doing a gear swap since everything is already out except the pinion. I recomend a shop if you dont have a friend that knows what hes doing. Plus you get a warrentee (sp)with it!

Good luck!

Here's instructions for installing a detroit locker in the 9.25
http://www.offroadexchange.com/detroitlocker.htm

and I don't really believe there is a better locker made for the 9.25, there's no options for on/off lockers for it unfortunatly, so it is truley your best bet if you don't forsee an axel swap in the future.
