I think you will need to buy a new horn. Mud and water plays hell on horns. I would like to relocate mine so i dont have that problem. Mine sounds really weird so i dont even use it anymore

Speaking of Horn, Mine sounds like a dieing moose. I think the low tone is out. Should I just replace both tones? Cause both arn't looking all too pretty anymore. Being under the truck, they are both rusty as hell.

How would I connect a new set of horns? Wil the universal ones work from Advance or something?

I would try the univeral ones. all you have to do is hook up two wires, they also come with new brackets

They have a new replacement kit at O'Reilly's for about $19 and it comes with 2 horns, brackets (which will mount to your stock ones) and wiring if needed. Just go to the electrical section an they will be there with a red plastic slotted guard cover.

Mine sounded like a dying moose too. Too funny. I ended up replacing them. You can check voltage out at them and also check your fuses. In the end, it's relatively cheap for generic replacements and they are easy to install.

UPDATE ON HORNS:

So I went out on the powerlines today and there was this like 94 or w/e audi 100? It was all beat up, shot at, rusted, and drove over by rock crawlers and dirtbikes/quads, so i figured, hey why not look for some horns lol. Well il looked under it and there where 2 horns, took out my knife, and cut them bitches out....OMG THESE THINGS ARE SO LOUD. They dont sound dinky like the horns i used to have, they really are LOUD! Just thought ide update.

Sorry for the long post,
